Accessibility statement
ID Attendance Scanner is sold at this website by John Place. We want teachers, staff, and purchasers to use the site regardless of ability. Our goal is to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA (opens in new tab).
This is an honest accessibility commitment, not a legal certification. We have not paid for a third-party ADA audit or VPAT. We improve the site as we find issues and when users report them.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with header, main content, navigation, and footer landmarks
- A skip link to jump past navigation to the main content
- Text alternatives for product and screenshot images
- Visible keyboard focus styles on interactive controls
- Form fields paired with labels on checkout, login, and feedback forms
- Reduced-motion support where decorative animation is used
- External links that open a new tab are indicated to assistive technology
Known limitations
- PayPal checkout — After you tap CHECKOUT you leave this site for PayPal’s payment flow. We do not control PayPal’s accessibility.
- Chrome extension — Installing and using ID Attendance Scanner in the browser is separate from this sales site and is not covered by this statement.
- Amazon product links — Scanner hardware links open Amazon in a new tab; Amazon controls that experience.
- Small screens — The top navigation collapses on narrow viewports; primary actions remain reachable through in-page links and the Buy now button.
- Decorative styling — Some cards and stickers use rotation for visual interest; motion is reduced when your system requests it.
